I've been a portrait photographer for the past 15 years, and an artist since I can remember. I was fascinated by photography since I first picked up a camera decades ago. I spent many years working with film in the darkroom producing fine art landscapes, architecture and cityscapes. During these “analog” years I learned how to bring an image to life with only the limited capabilities that film and wet process printing offered. But less was more because I learned the essence of what makes an image compelling without being distracted by the infinite manipulation options of Photoshop. Yes my photography is all digital today, but my images are still direct and honest, and rely on the beauty of color, shadow and light to bring out the essence of you.
